This project is the biggest water transmission concrete pipe line in the Middle East, the capacity of this line is 5 cubs Meter per second with necessary provisions to construct the second line.

Main features of this project are as follows:
All the concrete pipes manufactured by the contractor in the pipe manufacturing plant installed by the client in Azarshahr city.
Inner diameter of pipes is 2000 mm, testing pressure 15 atmosphere, length of each piece 6 meter, weight of each piece 24 tones, totally 24000 pieces of concrete pipes.
Steel pipe with diameters of 1800 and 2000 mm totally 46 kilometer.
Pipe line starts from Zarrineh Rud river right bank intake structure and pumps up  to water treatment plant located in higher elevation, this pipe line passes sloper hills and crosses various roads , rivers , railway 6 cities: Malekan – Bonab – Azarshahr -Ajabshir-Khosroshahr-Tabriz to water reservoir of Tabriz .
The capacity of this pipe line is 5 cubic meters per second and transmits 200 million cubic meter of water per year to Tabriz.
Pumping facility and construction of the water reservoir and supply of valves was not included in this contract, inside and outside coating and also construction of service road included in this contract.
Excavation for pipes installation through 2200000 cubic meters, back filling and additional soil over pipes.
Road construction for pipe line in 180 kilometers, volume of related earth work 2500000 cubic meters.
Earth work of service road 650000 cubic meters.
